Brightspark’s Vision and Mission
The BrightSpark Foundation is dedicated to funding Western Australian based scientific research in child heath. Funding the early stages of research into child health diseases is fundamental to the advancement of knowledge and solutions to improve the wellbeing of children.
The Foundation’s History
Originally known as the “TVW Telethon Foundation”, the Foundation was established in 1977 for the purpose of receiving and administering donations received through Telethon.
Our Governance and Finance
The BrightSpark Foundation is a public ancillary fund registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and is constituted as a trust with a company limited by guarantee acting as corporate trustee.
Partners and Donors
Each year we rely on the support of our partners and sponsors to enable researchers to better understand and treat a range of conditions that impact the lives of children both in Australia and around the world.
